Dubai: Global Village, the region’s largest
seasonal theme park on Emirates Road, will open its gates to the public
tomorrow (Sunday) for free as it marks the opening of its longest season
ever in 17 years.
The park has also decided to
extend its opening hours until 2am (Main Park) and 3am (Rides) during
the weekends which fall within the Eid in Dubai celebrations. Regular
timings will resume after the Eid celebrations. The traditional Monday
Family Day will begin after November 2.
Eight countries have been
added to the 37 pavilions at the park totalling over 65 countries to
date. Funfair rides have also increased by 30 per cent this year.
