Dubai, UAE; November 29, 2013: An ambience of festivity will underline the 'Spirit of the Union,' at 'The Parade – Downtown Dubai, UAE National Day' the annual celebration organised by Emaar Properties to mark the 42nd UAE's National Day, on December 1, 2013.
Open to residents and visitors, 'The Parade – Downtown Dubai, UAE National Day' will be held from 3pm to 5pm on the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, the glorious thoroughfare that encircles 'The Centre of Now.'

A vibrant celebration with colourful displays, visitors to 'The Parade – Downtown Dubai, UAE National Day' can gain strong insights into the UAE's heritage and modernity through themed floats, several dance performances, novelty balloons, camel and horse parades, and musical acts.
Underlining the cosmopolitan outlook of Dubai, which is home to over 200 nationalities, cultural groups representing different communities will take part in the event.
Local and international schools, government entities, international brands, philanthropic organisations, bikers' and sports clubs and children mascots will also join the parade, underlining the solidarity that is synonymous with the National Day celebrations.
Visitors can revel in a special display by the Lotus F1® Team, with a show car on a dedicated float, highlighting Emaar’s support as the team’s 'Official Partner.'
Dubai Healthcare City will mark the culmination of its '7 Emirates Run,' at 'The Parade – Downtown Dubai, UAE National Day,' an initiative dedicated to helping children get back on their feet.
Inflatables representing Emaar Properties by its various entities including Downtown Dubai, The Dubai Mall, SEGA Republic, Reel Cinemas, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, KidZania®, The Address Hotels + Resorts, and At the Top, Burj Khalifa, will be exhibited during the parade.
Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard connects Downtown Dubai's iconic attractions including Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building; The Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping and entertainment destination with 1,200 retail outlets; and The Dubai Fountain, the world's tallest performing fountain. It also links several shopping, hospitality, entertainment and dining attractions within the 500-acre community. In addition, the boulevard hosts spectacular events including the Emirates Classic Car Festival and the Downtown Dubai New Year's Eve Parade and offers vintage views of the New Year's Eve Gala, which had welcomed over 1.7 million visitors
